on the fruit machines where you can change the stake to say 10p 20p or 30p are you more likely to get on the board with a 30p than a 20p stake and once on there will it offer you more money with a 30p stake?

Yes, you are 3 times more likely to get on the board spending 30p stake than 10p stake, however once you are on the board the chances of winning are the same

It makes do difference at all in terms of machine odds, only in terms of speed - i.e 10 spins at 30p to get on the board rather than 30 spins at 10p.
Back to the books for me, cold turkey didn't work so maybe 5 mins a day for a couple of days?
