After a week from the site conversion there are many dead links.
It seems that any link in the old message base didn't work.
Also it seems that users gallery is gone in dev null.
The site is a little bit faster but not so faster. It looks a little bit ugly ... where are the nice crazy fruits?

Don't blame me... but I don't like it. This is just my opinion.

It seems that any link in the old message base didn't work.

It is not an easy task to make the old links work as they refer to a different database and all of the link ids will be different. The only way to fix this is to edit them one by one - not something I have time to do.

I will check whether I can automate this.

Also it seems that users gallery is gone in dev null.

There is a new gallery in place, I have re-uploaded some user pictures but it is difficult to tell which users some of them belong to. Feel free to upload your pics again.

I think most users would disagree strongly with this. The site is considerably faster. As an example the front page on the old site (which I still have) takes 9 seconds to fully load when cached, the new one takes about 1 second. The system load is the most important thing, the new sites takes less than half the server power of the original to run.

As for the crazy fruits, well I did have something similar on the test site but a decision was made to ditch them for a more professional look.
