I wondered if one of you guys might be good enough to give me some advice on installing a note acceptor on a BF Monopoly. Is it easy to do and where is the best place to buy the kit required. Would I be better off getting a local company to supply and install for me?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

hello

first of all you need to decide what type of note acceptor you want.
japan cash/jcm note acceptors personally i would avoid.

try to get a money controls nv4 note acceptor.

to be honest to get it done properly i would contact a local company as most engineers can fit them on site so you wouldn't need to take your machine to them, they should also be able to supply the note acceptor and all the wiring and note boxes.

a good price for a complete install i would say would be about 85-95 quid.

sorry baz the nv4 smile face part1 the note shoot part2 the rundown part3 and the note cash box part4 bfm/bfg would charge £200 for the kit this would only be the metal work not the smile nv4 face the loom would cost u £14 and if the machine was going to be a dereg i.e note to credits
software and decals would be need as well if the machine was used as a change machine only the metal work nv4 face and loom would be used . if you go for the nv4 system please make sure that u get a std parallel verson of the nv4 and not the nv4 cc talk or serial as this will or can be a pain in the ass if u ever have to replace the m/b or clearing the ram in total bewarery of paining upto £300 for a new complete kit with nv4 mech as well i must say that i have never tryed buying a second hand kit
to install it takes no more then 20 min bear in mind that i fit about 10 to 25 kits a week thats what i fit between 8 other members of staff

if you do go ahead will it myself and baz, others can help if u need it
