Hey guys,

I recently got my first fruit machine, it's a Red Gaming Sting KIng Rich based on a Barcrest MPU5 (love it). I'm hoping someone can clear up the confusion I have with it.

The decals on the front above the coin mech say something like "no more than a maximum of 25 pounds in one game" but when I'm playing it in free play I have won £35 and £37 from a single game. I've checked the stake and prize key and it has on it 25p play £25 jackpot. Why can I win more than £25 in a single game, is my stake and prize key faulty? I've checked both banks of DIP switches and they are all in the off position.

Also the coin return button on the coin mech (Cashflow 126 DFX) doesn't seem to return my coins, when I put coins in they register credit and then drop straight to the cash boxes (or hopper if £1) which obviously means they can't be returned. Can only £1 coins be returned?

Any help would be appreciated!

It will only be £25 in one go as in one credit...... If it's gone over £25 it will take another credit off you.

Thanks Jim so let me get this right, from a single 25p (1 play) I should only be able to get a maximum of £25 from it, but if I continue to play more 25p credits I can gain over £25? (Hope that makes sense)

Cheers!

Thanks mate, makes sense. Does anyone know where I can get a manual for Sting King Rich? I've searched all over but can't find one. The only one I have is a Barcrest MPU5 which I bought off eBay.

the actual manual wont really tell you much more information to be honest. if the information you are after is things like hopper dump, test and how to play well just ask what ever you want to know and the lovely people on here will be able to answer most questions you will have. you will soon find that most machines the insides will all do pretty much the same to a certain degree. hope this helps.

Thanks mate.

I was hoping to get the game manual so I know what I need to do to play it properly. Anyone who knows how to play it let me know so I can get some pointers!

Do you know if there are any main differences between the Barcrest MPU5 manual and the Red Gaming MPU5 manual or was it just to make it all branded in Red Gaming when buying.
