Never ever thought I would see this in a million years.  Be amazing to play those some of those machines again. Is it correct that this version of MFME if released by Wizard, will play every MFME layout ever released and have a rescale option like in MFME 3.1 / 3.2?

Thanks Magz, I just read it, seems that way.  Also SRU done too and many others, wonder if Castle tech is done too, sure that was in the video years ago!

LOL...  Proof is in the pudding, what   I don't think Wizard needs to prove himself, mfme is still currently the emulator of choice!!!   It's unlikely to have regressed.

I think the 'scene', as fragmented as it is seems a lot more laid back nowadays, if we get a new mfme then great, if not, we haven't lost out on anything.

I recon it's 100% going to happen now, can't wait to see this new MFME in action.  With all the new techs, ability to rescale all layouts and load all layouts in just 1 MFME, looking forward to this.

Agree. And I'll be mostly looking forward to layouts from your good self and Pook too (which are always incredible standard).

 

When it comes out will give me the motivation to finally finish 4 or 5 wips I've had in a folder for about 4 years

Good news to hear, was only thinking about MFME v4 a few hours ago, then found this post. Let's hope for the best.

does anyone else believe this to be 100% real that we will get another MFME release or is there another carrot to be dangled ?

 

I myself believe this will be released and I am even looking and doing a DX again if it does.

means.....after all we were asked if we would welcome a new MFME release and of course we would in 99% of cases so not sure what 'potential outcome' would be or what the 'wider scope' can be... luckily wearecity has asked so we will wait and see.

I can't imagine a situation in which people would not welcome a new MFME release.

Except possibly during an outbreak of zombies.

That would be an unwelcome distraction.
