Slightly more than vaguely relevant.  I suppose we need to know the purpose.  Is it to return to its original position, the position it was in just before shut-down, or an archive such that we can at least see what went on.  I have to say either of the first 2 don't particularly appeal to me, but I would like the third.

Not sure about the new hosting arrangements, but no point in it going back to day 1, needs to be put back as it was before closure or as an archive.

 

I'd like to think it could come back as more than an archive, as we still did have the odd post there, but I guess that depends on costs, if it is worth it.

 

It could still have it's uses, if this place or the mecca had issues I suppose.

Hosting is no problem, I have hosted the site for free for some time now, before that other members paid or contributed to the costs. The site is just as it was when it was last available. It just has no address at the moment - I guess Alex forgot about renewing it. We'll sort an alternative domain and get it back up soon.

I didn't really visit the old fruiforums that much, I have to be honest.  Wouldn't like to see it go though.
