Not sure whether its the same thing you have tried but click design mode at the top and right click on the green reel and chose "something reel image"

Gah i cant remember the exact words of it now. anyone fill the rest in.

You say you set reel background.....

Not moved the reel by mistake over the background and then chosen the 'set' have you?, if so you will not see the reel until its dragged over the green block and set again (it will drag a bit of whatever it was set as)...

Pic below I moved it off centre set it and moved it back as an example.

Nope the link works fine. Make sure when you go to the downloads page that you login again with the same username and password for the main site.

If ever there was a strong advert for Epoch emulation this is it. A fun machine.

As I know NOTHING about designing layouts etc.. is it possible to rip sounds from the simpsons t.v. eps and place them in this layout instead of the ones that you are using at the moment ?

Please don't flame me I am only a n00b :)

It IS possible, but only with the correct software, and days of patience. Nobody will go to that bother again. An example of hacked Sound ROMs can be found within the Terrance and Phillip layout somewhere on this site.

whcih emulator are you trying to load it into? Loading it into MFME v1 will produce this error as it was designed in a later version of MFME. Try MFME v2 or v3. If your monitor is capable of running at 1280x1024 reolution then i would reccomend trying MFME v2, as you will be able to adjust the speed settings.
