Hey,

After purchasing a old Empire Centurion fruit machine from a friend I've been trying my best to get everything fixed up and well. One of the main problems I'm having is that the coin mech is correctly sorting the coins but the actual tray that the coins are being dropped into (which leads to hoppers and tubes) is wonky thus £1 coins are going down the wrong slots and other coins are entering the £1 hopper. On the 20p hopper there is a plastic guard on top to only let 20ps in but on the £1 hopper this guard appears to be missing which is causing the misalignment. I have attached images to try help show my problem but I just wanted to see if anyone had a solution of some sorts to address the problem.

That separator is knackered mate!  It needs to be correct to stand any chance of the correct coins going to the correct place.

 

Get that sorted first...... and go from there.

Yeah the pin holding it onto the the coin mech must of snapped off in transit, the coins do come out of the separator in the correct places its just the tray underneath connecting to the tubes that is not secure. Will take your advice and go from there! Thanks for the help mate!

Okay separator has been sorted now but no £1 coins are going into the £1 hopper?  The hoppers have both been dumped and the routing plug to the C435A coin mech is inserted correctly but £1's are still not filling and going straight to the coin box. This is very strange as the 20p's are filling in their separate hopper just not the £1's.
