I get this error when I run mfme 5 any idea how to fix it ive tried updating directx but didn't work

MFME attempts to locate the first device it can find that is flagged as your DefaultGameDevice.
Perhaps this fails on your setup?

I set defult device as first tv and error has gone mfme working again cheers for your help

Hi team, just bought a new laptop today so I can install the new MFMEv5 and I am having trouble... Im getting ' XAudio2 Initialisation failed '
I have just downloaded ' direct_Jun2010_redist ' and its asking me where I would like to place the extended files which has lost me??
Also I went to the control panel and went on sound and all it has is speakers, how do I get another option??
Help would be great, thank in advance as always.

Open the folder, find the .exe file and run it.
