Finally the one question that has haunted FME forever has been answered, can Party Time be emulated ?
The answer is yes.
MFME now allows you to run multiple machines at once and this is how Party Time Arena is presented.
This release is not about me, this is about Wizard. I make things look pretty but he is the real magic that goes into this and everything else we are enjoying in the twilight weeks of 2016. He is the man to thank for this and the work that goes behind this.
My job is to make things look nice and try to avoid the "layout police" he has the hardest job out of all of us by pulling together a lot of behind the scenes magic to make this happen. Thank you Wizard.
To run this MFME needs a little tweaking as these machines uses an IP address. This is your local IP of your machine. Put this IP in Preferences under IP Addr. It will probably be a 192.168.0.x type address.
This release has four machines as it is actually four individual machines running, the top box and three clients.
Load them in this order:
- partytime_topbox_astrasysa1.gam
- partytime_red_astrasysa1.gam
- partytime_blue_astrasysa1.gam
- partytime_yellow_astrasysa1.gam
You should be up and running when they've all been loaded. All machines have had their rams wiped and each has had £75 pumped through it.
Enjoy and party like it's party time !
Again, many thanks to Wizard for everything that went behind the scenes to make this work - I simply made it look pretty.
Party time running on my laptop OMG!!
Fantastic, many thanks to all involved with the release.
Granny bashing time!!

For anyone struggling to find their IP address:
Press the Windows key + R
In the Run box type CMD
In the black window type:
ipconfig |more
Your IP address should be displayed - press a key to move to the next page of output if it is not. (Note the | in |more is shift and the key next to Z)...
You can also click on yr internet connections.
Click on yr net provider and click properties, scroll down and the ip address is shown as ipv4.
Well this works on windows 10 but im sure this should be the same for windows7.

Sorry, yes up to 7 is correct. 8 boards in total, but 7 players. Wasn't there a later one which could go up to 16 as well?

This is the 3 Player one, which has colours.
The top box on Arena doesn't have colours, just lots of white lamps around the reels.

this is partytime three player but who really cares, its partytime, just played all three my heads spinning now trying to keep up with all three for authenticity it would need the lower jp replacing with the big15 jackpot symbol and the top jp replacing with the original balloon jp
the top lamps around the reels are cloured the three colours but they're actually the lamps for the three balloons on the left/right, the player 1 on the base maybe the arrows on the top part also

I'm sure they had one at M&Ds with 15?
They had a party time there of some sort that had 15 units anyway.

Hmm - well I though this was the Arena one. During setup it certinally allowed you to add more than just the three consoles. I had to do a ram reset and work though those.
Also, don't pay any attention to the way I've done the lights here. I was using what was available an what seemed functional and usable and I believe I mentioned this to DAD.
Anyway, whatever it is - Arena / Player - what we have is Party Time and let's enjoy what we've waited and hoped would be possible for years and years and finally we have it.
For me, this is Party Time Arena - for anyone else that wants to call it Party Time Player, Design / Edit and then Configuration is your best friend.

They did indeed young man , infact i think they still do , although it may have been trimmed down slightly to 12 players , not been down for a while .. i'll need to check it out...
This is an amazing release , PT one of my favs ... and this isn't a complaint by any means ... but why not the .. " Player 1 ... iiiiitsss fun time " , or " Player 2 ... Its you ... lets play partytime " ... is it different ROM's or something..
Thanks for this anyway .. its brilliant.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.
