Hi all, I am just wondering if there is anyway you can save the progress of a played emulation. For example, if I play £100 through and then close the emulator, I have noticed that when I launch the emulation again, it has not saved that £100 played through, I looked at the meters and they are the same as a newly downloaded file, if anyone knows if you can save the state I will be really greatful and appreciative. It is literately just an idea and of course if you can't, the emulations are still fantastic 10/10! Just an idea.
Kind Regards

Think there is an item "save game" in the menu bar somewhere, never tried it, as I'm blind I don't need to see the metres.

MFME saves the .gam file and .ram file when you exit, so there should be need need to do anything else. I suspect your .gam file is set readonly, in that case read only is diaplayed in the Title Bar at the top and this can be changed using Ctrl w

You can also save RAM state at any point during the game using CTRL + S This will save a separate incremental RAM file within the game folder. If you then wish to revert to any of those save points you would need to rename one of them to the same name as the layout (deleting or renaming the original .ram file). Just then be aware that the meters in your .gam file will then be out of sync with the actual game, and if you are OCD like me you would want to edit the .gam file in notepad as well to adjust the meters accordingly.
This approach can be quite useful if you are preparing a layout for release and you want to release it in a jackpot or high payout probability state.

Did you press f12 to see the total in amount? as when you reload the cash in for that session goes to them.
Hold the bells mate.

I've tried the CTRL W method but i still get "cannot save Gam file"
I have all files save in one game folder. Is this correct? or do i need to split things up?
Cheers Mike
