Hi martinmacca welcome to Fruit Emu.

Played this a few times....Average machine with the 'normal' feature board...

Whether you should buy it or not i'd say rest's on the price and (looking at the pic it's an ebay jobby) the delivery charges...

There certainly are a lot worse out there thats for sure.

Yeh i think it would go pritty cheap (i'd say about £70?) and the guy lives in the same city as me so it would be easy to get. Really wanted a simpsons one but looking about £140-£150 and all the ones ive seen over the last few weeks have been at least 100 miles away so its a bit too much hassle to travel all that way just for a machine if you know what i mean or i could get them delivered for £65 which isnt cheap!

Used to play it a lot in the local nobles, pretty boring machine after a while and the sounds are terrible. Good for boredom though, normally £3-£8 for a £5 jackpot.

Contarary to popular belief, Big Ghoulies ain't all it's cracked up to be. Firstly, I've heard from a few that size doesn't matter. it's what you do with it. And secondly, try finding condoms that fit.

Decent gameplay generally. Goes a bit dry sometimes & bores though.

Look out for 1-2-3 barcode for Dead Cert. Easy JP 8 out of 10

It's like Kung Fu/Wild West/Caeser's Palace (AWP not club) if that means anything to you. Not an exact copy. Basically a fairly cheap and cheerful machine.
It can repeat once on jackpot and on a higher % you should have some fun. I'm sure I had £4+repeat go for £12 or £16 when these first came down the aracde.
There's a SKILLCASH feature, a stop the number reels for nudges type feature amongst others. It can go for £10-£15 without giving anything above 40p, on the other hand you can build the bank up to £20 or so from a fiver. It's reasonable fun and better than a lot of blocky boring stuff out there. Sfx are fairly lame - "You have big ghoulies master" e.t.c but then it's a budget machine isn't it?
@_!!

Well didnt manage to get Big Ghoulies, got outbid in the last few seconds but from what you've said im glad i did. So kept an eye out and managed to get Squids In for £84 - lucky theres a ROM so i tried it out before i bid & seems pritty good. Only thing is ive got to go and collect it, has anyone managed to get one in a normal car ? Ive got a Focus and am thinking of putting the passengers seat flat & sliding the machine in as far as possible & tying down the boot. I can get hold of a van from a mate only its a bit of hassle.

We can get them into a modern Mondeo hatch ok, needs the hatch tied down though :)

A focus will be pushing it though.... although I guess it depends on distance :)

squids in should measure 1680mm height, 680mm width, 680mm depth

Best bet is to get a tape measure and check these figures against the boot of the focus.

hope it helps

Congrats on getting it up the stairs :p

I managed to get a sofa up the stairs by myself [surprisingly enough, it was to make room in the dining/reading room for Spiker the Biker :D]
