OK Folks, I am new to this site and looking for a bit of player knowledge cos I'm buying and selling fruties like its going out of fashion.
I love the Bell Fruit fruties, not just gameplay but their cabinets and glass/design - they make a lovely bit of furniture !! (I'm not mad don't worry). They also make good easy to service kit, with most bits easy to change and service.
So, my question is - of the latest Bell Fruit/Mazooma/QPS machines (all use the Eclipse cabinet) - lets say from 2003 up, what is the best for gameplay and the most addictive?
You know the one's with great gameplay, sounds and lovely artwork with all the lights!
If you start from as early as Monopoly (for BFG), Frutopia (QPS) and Count yer cash (Mazooma) - no earlier - I'm on about machines around NOW (think of Grand Blaster Cash, Monopoly world, Ant and Dec, I'm a celebrity etc.
Equally, if you know crap one's let me know !!
Don't forget to tell me why on your replies!
Thanks! - you'll help me buy my next machine and hope its a good one that will last as long as my LOTR Two Towers (had that one 3 months, that's my record and I want to keep it so far)!

I think Monopoly looks best as a well designed reporduction of a board game, has some style/class to it. Ant & Dec machines look like they were made in 5 seconds, pathetic artwork and a shocking waste of what could have been an OK ish license. Same applies to stuff like the last LOTR machine - Two Towers was OK, but the last one [Return of the King? Sorry, not much of a Tolkien fan ] looked a bit rushed aswell.
I quite liked the Cops N Robbers machine that came out at the same time as Monopoly, I assume the name was Cops N Robbers - the one with the 'Safe Cracker' switch? Nice theme to it and a pleasant design.
So, I'd say if you need a machine of that type, I'd take Monopoly or Cops N Robbers. They are basically the same as the more recent machines but you'll save cash and will IMHO enjoy them more [as machines get cloned the more gameplay gets sucked out of them!]

daft question, but is the new cops and robbers anything like the old cops and robbers?
I remember playing the old one a few times, its one fruity I remember from the past, but never seen a modern version.

I agree about monopoly, trouble I found was playability was a bit lacking as was sounds, slow is how I'd describe it - but class and looks/artwork agree totally.
Wasn't LOTR Return of the king a monoploy clone? don't you rate this one as much? be keen to know why as I have two towers and wanted ROTK but you've put me off now!
Also - what about the QPS/Mazooma machines, any knowledge/comments on them?

http://video-games.l...ListingItemList
try the above link for e bay, lists quite a few.
be aware that if the machine is not being sold by a licensed person the coin mech will be disabled (think i right there if not sure i be corrected )
the adverts will state whether this is the case or not

I had my first machines (and latest one) off ebay yes, to date I've had no problems but just be sure to ask all the questions before you consider bidding/buying, then pay cash on collection or delivery and if not as expected (when you test before you buy) simply don;t buy it.
Like I said, ebay to date no prob's and some real bargains, all depends whos' bidding looking each week by week. Recently there have been massive bargains, but its picking up again now.
I also get some machines from trade, but you do pay more unless you wait - however you have more say with trade and in theory they service machine (hmmmm) and you get a warranty (although ebay has every spare too!).

For me it's easily gotta be the bell fruit Cops and Robbers(The one with the superboard)
Because I only play 5 pound jackpots, I win the jackpot on the superboard everytime because the cash values on it are the same as its £25 brother!

Gaagh! I hate that bloody thing! Crazy Cobra is probably the most unwinnable machines in the world! It's a shame I haven't got a Chav It pic... It would have been good to stick up in school!
