Does anyone know if v5 supports the disc reel? Just thinking cos i'm assuming JPM's Big Banker was never done for MFME, Only the jpemu. Was this why that's the case? Also battle axe and dosh and pecks etc.... can just be updated?

 

Just asking btw as I've seen people getting shot down for request. This is not a request, Just felt like a chat. lol

Yes the disk reel now works fully as it should,the layouts will need disk reels making for them,so it's not just a case of loading into v5.The work around was band reels for the likes of dosh and battle axe,quite simple to do once you suss it.

Yeah I know that but i'm glad that's fixed although I did get used to playing battle axe without it spinning. Will be good once that's done any plenty time. Ill get into making a layout one day. A don't know where everyone finds the time. Hats off to them though. Gave me my wee happy place over the past 10 years

Here is an example of a fully working disc reel. It's not my layout so credit to the original author, I just revamped it for MFMEv5.

Is there a problem with adjusting the volume on this, as no matter what I try it just ain't happening?

 

I've managed to do it on all the others I needed to adjust but getting nowhere with this one, can anyone advise please?

I have the volume to 255 on the slot and my volume to 50% and is aok.

Have you reset the ram ? As am finding that when I reset the rams on many of the slots it mess's with the volume and reduces it significantly.

I have windows 10 on my laptop but do not know if anyone else have issues on any other windows.

You could try and download the slot again,it has worked in most cases for me,after I have reset the ram.

No ram reset and I can hear the sound but would like it higher without having to adjust my pc speakers for just one game.

Thanks for that I could only use the Hold 2 method as the switch boxes won't let me add 0.

Why won't they let you enter 0? you have to be in Edit mode remember

This is definitely an area that needs someone capable to fix these disc reels.

I've looked several times, but I haven't a clue, if I did they'd be done by now.

Revolution another machine that needs a disc reel.

Battleaxe is such a nice looking DX it's a shame that it's not got a working disc reel.

Same here, there's also mega zone, my crappy mini version already has the lamps in place and golden dragon/club

It seems very easy to actually get a disc in place in v5 mfme.   Here is a quick disc I made for Battle Axe, literally 2 mins in photoshop to hack out the middle graphic and it was simple to import.   I haven't got time to look at the lamps as I'm at work, but someone could take a look if they wanted.
