Agree there Ross, looks like Moco had gone from a hang glider to a Jumbo from his previous one to this.

Well done Moco, forgot to add that in my first post. :)

:S

Sounds like you are the only one with this problem, unless it is the usual £1 'delay' error.

2 options :

1) Try to press the 'coin entry bit' - i.e, the warning and game info box with your mouse cursor as quickly as possibly - i.e a short sharp tap of your finger :)

2) Try to hold it in for say 1 second then release and see if that works.

IMHO you are best off just tapping. It is an unfortunate problem with the way the MFME emulator handles coin entry. I don't believe the BFMulator has a similar problem :)

I had this after I messed with some settings....Not quiet sure what I did though to cause it.

After unzipping again it was fine.

Nice release, one small thing when you get a hold, a 3 symbols on the reel flash, should just be the middle symbol. Your best release yet though.

the coin error is due to the emulator running at too high a speed try lowering the value in configuration, may help.

Did i download the wrong layout?

It is ok but i would not say it was brilliant, you all seem to be looking past the obvious flaws, here is a small list.

The nudge lamps look like they are only lit in the centre.

On alot of the lamps the edges daken when they are lit, that just shows that the layout has been rushed and not lamped properly.

The reels look streched and still have the border.

The 7 seg displays are too skinny.

The £1.20 lamp is jumpy.

I could go on but i really can't be bothere.

Sorry but I think this is well out of order mocochoco has not made many layouts and does not deserve this level of just plain downright nastiness remember hurtand you had to start somewhere there were faults in your earlier stuff but I would not dream of posting shite like you have is it the job of the mods here to beast new layout designers like you are the f*****g elite?

I am the elite? Who said that?

Look at my comments and honestly tell me they are not true.

I only posted that to show people that the layout wasn't as good as everybody was saying.

If everybody kisses his ass he is never going to learn anything, i have just been explaining to mocochoco on msn what i meant.

And to be honest he has made quite a few layouts now and really should have avoided some of the things i pointed out.

The point is you have taken the decision to piss on his 'day in the sun' something that has *never* been done to your layouts why have you taken this path folks are downloading it and playing it and enjoying the work put in and more to the point are replying to release threads something that aint happened in fme in a while if you are that bitter perhaps you need to just rethink your postion in fme after all Route 66 is shite by your own admission should I dig that thread up and berrate you?

The route 66 layout is good, the game is shite.

So my layouts have never been pissed on? Look on the poundrun archive and find the wip thread for my pcb hybrid.

And just so you know, i was not pissing on his day in the sun, i was just pointing out that the layout was not as good as everybody was saying.

I always miss the best bits :)

As I said when I had a quick word with Mocochoco earlier, considering this is like his 4th layout, his lamping is good, he has the hang of transparency shown by the middle bit. In terms of a 4th layout it really is a good effort.

The main problem is that theres niggling little problems that could be ironed out with 5 minutes work - issues like the reel borders and the £1.20 jumping could be done within 2 minutes easily.

Basically, Mocochoco has come a long way, and has done a *very good* job of this layout - just a shame it was a little rushed and it tarnished it a bit.

You look at people like Pook [not an ass kissing session, just an example!], and you are looking at 1 excellent, 100% bug free layout per fortnight.

What we have at the moment is people making layouts which are great for personal use, made in about 2 days, but with a bit more thought could be better.

I take some responsibility as I was a playtester on this layout, and I could have pointed out more stuff when I was testing :(

Anyway, stick at it Moco, you've done so well in a short amount of time. It's nice to see a 'newbie' actually biting the bullet and releasing a layout, and I hope you produce many more :)

You missed the point that folks are downloading it and more to the point enjoying it, you may have got a a better response to the pcb thread if you hadn't told everyone to f*** off hybrids are *never* recieved well.
