Following a recent incident when a truck decided to come into the lane that my car was already in, I decided it was time to get a dash camera. Better late than never.

Any personal recommendations? I don't want to spend very much, but neither do I want something that's useless...

I watch this guy on Youtube & he's done a lot of dash cam vids previously, can check his guide out & see what's recommended.

I tend to watch a lot of trucker's vids, and apart from general video of their various runs, they do from time to time, touch on the subject of dash cams, so maybe worth checking a few of those.

Trucker Jay (Based in Manchester, ex armed forces chap, but is often in my area a lot), I especially know has spoken about the subject before, so maybe worth checking his site....

I have had a few over the last few years and they never lasted very long, but my latest (DDpai M6+) is by far my favourite, for picture quality, ease of use, features etc.

You would need the CPL filter for it, as without.. it reflects your dash a noticeable amount. You would be hard pushed to find a better one for the low price point.

A lot of features in it for the price!
