RS232 will fail on one, I'm assuming it'll only not fail if something like a Datapak is fitted?

Anyway, have you got the error code from the machine when the alarm goes off?

It could be something as simple as a power on/off alarm, but if you can post the code it'll be useful :)

You could unhook the speaker as well, should be easy enough :)

If I can stand the row for 20 secs does that mean it wont happen everytime I switch it off then back on again?

I know it' not the doors cos I opened each one in turn, switched on machine, then pressed the button (as if door was closed) and the alarm still went off.....it only started happening after I opened the back to un-jam some coins then I got some coins out of the front..

If I unhook the speakers does that meanI lose all the game play sounds aswell?

RS232 will fail on one, I'm assuming it'll only not fail if something like a Datapak is fitted?

Sorry for being a bit dim...but this is all new to me......

BTW...there is no error message when the alarm goes off.....

or apologise to your neighbours, then invite them round to play on the fruity on freeplay for a bit, then tell them they are welcome to play it for real anytime. You may end up getting some cash of your neighbours ;)

try use dil 7 on most electras anyway should work on vogue this disable the alarm or pull the speak loom off lock all the doors let impact time out then the problem should be salted , or short out the cap next to d1 on the processor card this is a safe way of clearing impacts ram please make sure that the machine is turn off when clearing the ram or changing the dills
