Right bare with me on this one Fruit Preserve 1280 DX by RB reel 3 had a pear for so reason thats not even the same as the rest of symbols
band2.jpg 55.47KB 0 downloads
Can you spot it? anyways now change it to a grape with no number as it should be but the cherry go round feature is right to the flyer but when landing on the board starting with jackpot, pear, pound, grape, apple, orange.
Works out as jackpot, grape, pound, apple pear, orange when you land on these but with having limited knowledge if someone could just explain how to fix or just fix it many thanks

do you put the files in individual folders, as remember back in 2011 i had the same problem "wrong characteristic error" due to placing the individual files all in one file not separate ones
always when you download the layouts if they're not in a brown folder already like mine are, make a "new folder" onto desktop then rename it to say "addams family" then place the relevant roms etc for that layout within it
Cheers
Works a treat

Just think, once that was a high resolution for the tech we used to use !

The fruit preserve I have doesn't have that dodgy pear symbol.
As for the rest of your post, I haven't a clue what you're on about lol.

Sometimes looking to do fixes for layouts, bring up a nice surprise, such as a layout, you somehow missed the first time around.
In this case, one of my favourite Barcrests, a very nice King Kebab 1600 DX by Pandy, the notes on the download page here, show how passionate he was about FME lol
Anyway, it the best DX of KK and is a quad lamped machine, so only from v5 does it function correctly.
Nothing major to do here, consolidate lamps, set jackpot key (I've set it to match the decals), alpha converted.
So the only quad lamp machine, I now have, that consolidate lamps doesn't work on is Austin Powers DX by Moco, because it was lamped differently to this and Brainwaves. That's a shame, cause it's another favourite of this era of mine. I'd be grateful if anyone could look to do a fix on it (think I've asked before).

Good work, with this one, unless there is an easy way, getting wins on an AWP to find settings is awkward, let alone waiting for a win on these. I also converted the alpha and to get rid of the green surround on the £2, do what Wizard said in the Razzle Dazzle club thread "That is because there is a spurious carriage return in the lamp Text, just remove it and save".
LOTR- Return to the king, has a pink one around it on hold 1. No carriage return, but I got rid of that by making it a Polygon. So it looks a bit like when a button breaks and the arcade, just shoves on a wrong button, just to keep the machine working lol.

Pains me to say it, I've got over 100gig of FME stuff, and you're right, you miss a layout for whatever reason........... I've been playing Cosmic Casino all day.

Another thing now I play a lot on touchscreen, I like to see clickable buttons on my favourite layouts.
Barmy Army 1600dx by Nick Yer Pesos, now fully press/clickable. Button numbers were gained from Ross's equally decent 1280 dx.
This is a one off from me. If anyone wants to make other layouts clickable, look to download/open another classic or dx of the machine, which has button assignments.
To add them, go into design, edit mode, right click on the button you want clickable and choose properties. Then enter the button number in the err button box. Click apply, close properties box, come out of edit mode.

Is this not a service you would be happy to do ?
We send you via PM our layouts and you convert them and send them back ?

Lol
I've no problem, helping anyone if I can. Most stuff I stumble on when tinkering with my game manager set up. Perhaps you could let people who don't know (me lol), how we might find the button numbers without the need to download another layout that has them, or is that really the simplest way.
Here I just wanted to say to people, there are lots of these layouts and in most cases just follow the simple instructions and you can alter most of them. I like to learn, which is why I like The Laboratory on DIF, for stuff like split lamps, which spoil a good attract sequence.
When setting up this thread, I didn't want to spam this thread with layouts, because most were such simple DIY fixes. The idea was to post simple instructions (if I can do them, then surely anyone can) and people do them themselves, but it seems to have become a case of DIY fixes, but we'll do them for you anyway lol.
Not a problem for me, not sure if the site owner is bothered, if these downloads avoid bandwidth restrictions and thus cause any issues.

What do you mean? The button numbers are always in the layout or it wouldn't work at all. You may find they are on simple buttons located out of view. In that case it's a simple matter of using Ctrl Drag Drop to transfer the numbers and shortcuts over from the button to the lamp used on the main layout. The old button can then be deleted

If the buttons are not off screen, we've seen this a few times and they have also been hidden behind graphics.
To check this, turn off the background, Right Click on Background / Background Visible and remove the checkbox.
If you see a large logo or something like that, check behind it, you may find buttons there as well.
