This seriously needs a dx, one of my favourites, doubt art will turn up now though. Not sure if its been done yet, but found captain haddocks rags to riches had the constant hopper noise, so simply untick hoppers1 & 2 to clear this save upon exit via 6.1

Vivid's Fifty Fifty 1280 DX has a seek tab failed error, can anyone look into this?

There s no DX for vivid's Fifty Fifty, I done the classic for it.
If its the same as the post on dadsfme, I haven't bothered to look at them at the minute as they were designed in the leaked emulator.
I will try and get round to them at some point.

Not sure what is going on here, but creating a 5th reel seems to work. Here I have just made a copy of the number reel.
When you get on the feature and hit the spin button, the number reel and the newly created reel both spin.
I don't know the machine, so don't really understand the machine gameplay esp the feature part.
I've attached it, working in v6.1, but have deliberately not done anything other than get it to stop alarming.

The reason the reel will spin is because it used a disc reel, but they were far too complicated for me so the work around was used.
Here is an image of the machine.
I'm with you on the disc reel, would love someone to do a step by step guide on producing one.

I would love to learn about the disc reel myself, especially on a classic layout.

Its got sound ive just downloaded it.
Give it a update, buttons had no numbers or shortcuts, cleared door switches so goes in test, added effects, made mech into lamps so works, fixed number reel as didnt look right.
Could do with alpha and segs doing too.
If you want it louder use shift & +.

Couple of layouts i've got a problem with in mfme6.1.
first 10x10 1024dx (have we a bigger better version of this?. if so can it be uploaded to here please?) wrong sound error, i have re-added the sound roms and a slightly different game rom then started as normal the game sounds worked fine, but when i save the layout then reload it the wrong sound error appears
next cashbowl
the reels are well out but not a scooby whats what with them, very odd reels

Just like the error in the older emus, you just hit the start button and the error will clear.
or you can change the sound to "sample only" the error will clear itself.
also noticed that the second reel(position 1) is a red seven, so you need to replace the blue.

Can someone take a look at Loop The Loot, it's been said before in this thread it doesn't work and it still doesn't.
Tried changing various settings but still getting errors.
Only thing I've changed from the download is the cable type to get the alpha to display, so we can see the actual error messages it's giving.

Working on it at the mo, if you remove the " inverted opto " in the feature reel, it clears the error.
*edited to add now fixed.
all working ok so far

A handy little tip if you didn't know already is that you can hold down shift then drag and drop a button to a lamp and it copies over the properties including the shortcuts, coin settings etc
Makes light work of updating these old keyboard only layouts.
