Been playing it a bit, and I was wondering if you could help me out with a little mystery, I'm probably being stupid but hey...
To show you that you can swap between two columns it lights up an x, but sometimes the x is red, what difference does it make... doesn't seem to make any difference to me at all...

I think it basically means that when you reach a point with a Red swap, you are awarded a red [upgraded] feature.
There was a JP steal for this, which I mentioned in the Red X thread - but am not sure if it works on X Rated.
If you want to check, get to a Red exchange point, and use steps to get a 'bonus' on the number reel. If you can get to a Red exchange point with a bonus on the reel, DON'T exchange - just press 'Take Feature'
If you get a Red feature it didn't work, if you get the top feature it did

The red Xs mean a repeat win on a cash value, or up/down nudges on nudges.

if its the same machine I'm thinking of the red X's light up at the top of the machine and you get the top feature

Its not a bad machine to play really - i lost enough money on this machine.. dam you Red!!! lol
