Bit overpriced IMO for the MAB, but yes they generally can have stakes / prizes changed at a flick of a switch.
Basically MAB's are a conversion kit (Quite similar as the much better Chuzzy Kit, and ironically the MAB kit, Chuzzy had a hand in), which give a standard bar-x style machine, extra tweaks and quirks to the game, like extra / unlimited nudges, nudge to win (The award will flash up along with a sound), and so on.
Unfortunately I find em a bit over complicated for what they are and quite fussy to set up, unlike the Chuzzy board, which is just one dog bone shaped card you fit to the mainboard, set game select switch to what you want (There are 16 different games on it), set stake / prize on boot, and all set, and you can even go as far as doing a hopper conversion on the older tube payout versions of the bar-x style games.
If you do go for one of these bar-x style games, what I suggest you do, is don't get one with a MAB conversion done to it, get either a factory standard Electrocoin one, or one that has a Chuzzy fitted..... You can also fit these chuzzy boards to the casino style cabs..... only thing you need to watch for, is Electrocoin systemboards that have the extra security mod board fitted, as they can not take these games mod boards.
If you want to know more about MAB / Chuzzy kits, BF74 (Ron) is your man to speak to, as he can obtain chuzzy boards, along with replacement decals, reelbands etc.
