Any updates on the roms?

 

I could check the tracking number. I suspect they have not arrived at the destination yet. Then they need dumping, then uploading. All in good time.

Oddly enough we seem to have already had these sound roms.  They rebuilt to 'Hurricane' does that sound about right?

the sound roms doesnt work as all it does it lock up on the first spin

 

and now the rom loader options dispearred from my mmfe

Ok if anybody can get this layout running with these ROMs please upload or even better amend the layout release

Mine worked fine just loaded the layout loaded the roms added the sounds

Thought I'd have a go and d/l it to see if it worked for me.............. and it does

 

Just thought I'd let you know.

 

It gave  Memory reset alarm which cleared in less than 5 seconds and then played fine.

 

File attached in case anyone else wants to try it and tell me if I did it correctly lol

I'd be very surprised if the same sound roms were used in two different games! Looks like the Hurricane set is incorrectly labelled.

Indeed that is my guess, although I just go off what people tell me as most times there is no way to know.  Shame it looks like we had them all along.

can the title of the layout within downloads please be changed as sounds are now within the layout file cheers

There is no way to know because people don't name them correctly when they are dumped and the ROMs themselves contain no info to identify them. It's not that hard to copy a label is it?

So now the hunt will start for the correct Hurricane sound ROMs

So are you saying the hurricane classic layout the sounds are in correct? As they sound like they should do.
Hopefully they'll be sorted before I complete the DX side of it or we'll be starting this conversation all over again lol.

It does moo lol. so must be correct and i think there's a donkey a couple of chickens and dorethy floating by nah only joking only hear the cow and donkey on the trail held I think.

So I presume High Voltage has no mooing then?  But as pointed out the roms for Hurricane & High Voltage have the same 'hash' value so are identical as such but then they should not be..... really odd and my head hurts now..
