I'm sorry, but I can't play this. As I can't see, I need to hear the machine sounds. These epoch ROMs are so easy to come by these days on coolrom.com and emuparadise. I am not sure how to upload files but I'm sure Johnyafc that you should be able to get these roms up easily. Bit off-topic, but I love the Geronimo machine, played it back in the day. What a great sound package this has!

If the sound roms were available "ANYWHERE" ,i am pretty sure that Johnnyafc would have included them in the layout.

 

Curiously, i may regret asking, wanted to ask for a while but what difference do the sounds make to a blind person (i presume that is what you mean when you say you can't see)? How do you know when there are holds, how would you know what number on the number trail the machine is on, how would you know what feature the machine is offering?

I didn't request the sounds but released it cause it had the cool LED feature in the middle

Thanks for this even if a quiet one just like my previously mute hi voltage hopefully the sounds will surface one day.
@ I have finished unfortunately the sound part of the roms are not on any rom site at least not the two you've mentioned as I've looked previously so atm due to your condition you won't be able to play it.

I think he has a program on his pc which enables him to play these even though he's blind, so fair play and respect to him to being able to play em even if it's sound only.
So obviously on this occasion this layout is unplayable to him.

Still don't get how you would know what number is on the number reel etc?

Hi Mavroz and to all concerned, of course I am thanking Johny for his efforts, but yes I am referring to being blind. I need the sounds help me when I have holds etc, when I'm on the board. Then I can use the sounds to hear money collected in the bank etc. The software that reads text for me does not read out what is on the machine, literally all it says is "MFME V 5.1. Frantic by Johnyafc - date of release." I apologise if I offended anyone, and I was just sure that Epoch ROMs are not hard to find for MAME, they should just work just as fine with MFME.

They do work, but we don't have them in the first place. The ones used in MAME were provided by the same people who provide them on here. We have what they have.
