Hi

I've bought an mpu5 machine called Neptunes Treasure.

The bit where you put money in only has one slot for 5's, 10's, 20's, 50's, £1's & £2's. However, when you open the front of it up, there are two slots to put money in. Would the other slot be for tokens? and if so, how would I know what type of tokens?

Well, originally yeah, but that machine will not AFAIK take tokens. Both chutes pass over the same coin validator, so if you were to put a coin in the left hand side one it would take it as usual :)

thought that.

I was hoping I would be wrong cos I intend to put a couple of machines in the kids garage along with their pool table & dart board - don't fancy leaving loads o coins in them.

Is there anyway of changing it from taking coins to tokens?

technically yes you could change it.

but you would have to buy token hoppers, token software and a coin mech that is calibrated to take tokens(which i could be certain the one that is in it will only take cash)

all in all you would be paying about the same price as the value of the machine to just convert it to tokens.
