You could drill it.
Or prob hammer screw drive through it.
It may only be a standard 92250 key lock.
You can get them for a couple of pound on ebay.

I wouldn't advocate the hammer and screwdriver route, you tend to end up with a lot of blood and splintered chipboard!You could drill it.

But yes, chances are they are a standard 92250 L&F.
If the OP wants to make a donation to the site then I'll put a couple in the post to them first thing Monday.
Alternatively they could try picking them, it's pretty easy for this type of lock. You can even make your own picks with the strips of metal out of an old car windscreen wiper blade...
