Hi, I have just bought a DVD off ebay with lots of quiz machines.....extracted all files and installed what Im supposed to.

I am running on windows 7, cannot play skillball Bingo as an error 429 appears, before that 40006 appeared, anyone know how to sort errors?

Thanks

Well you should really be asking the people who sold you the DVD given it's not working, but seeing as you have supported the site i'll help.

Skillball bingo & a majority of the others will not run on Windows 7 very easily. It seems to require a certain hardware set up, have a lot of directx runtimes installed & require a lot of independent dll & ocx files that aren't easily available for windows 7. I run Windows 10 so can't try & see which errors mean what specifically, can always make a virtual xp machine & try running them in that.

I part agree Tommy.

Alas I too purchased a dvd from Ebay-And that is only how I stumbled upon the emulation sites!

So I don't knock the guy for purchasing the dvd its the people who sell the dvd's etc who need to be stopped and prosecuted.

Yet how can that be done??

It's a very sad situation.

Maybe if the emulation sites advertised on Ebay this would part avert the problem.

I have windows xp on my pc alas I can't get the new 5/5.1 emulator to run period.

Firewall and the anti virus block it -ive tried all sorts to remedy it but no joy!

Yes Wizard released xp version for 5.1, but there were limitations to what it could do compared to the windows 7 version.

The only limitations are no touch screen support and no find IP address in prefs.

Tried everything mate but think my pc needs a proper overhaul as it is now 20years+old :err:

Opening a few things together on the machine sometimes causes it to overheat -ruddy nightmare.

Ok thank you for comments and advice, I have built my own arcade machine ( 2 player with trackball) from scratch and installed hyperspin ( including future pinball), all fruit machines old and new and just wanted to add quiz machines to have complete arcade experience.... by buying a dvd with lots on thought all would be simple to set up, yes should have gone on free sites, noted.

Maybe leave the quiz machines off now.
