Hi everyone.. I was wondering if anyone has a new board I can buy off them for this machine. It keeps resetting itself randomly and I didn't want to pay £65 for a one off ebay. Thanks

Are you sure it's not the PSU as mine kept restarting due to that (sanken) bought a new one (stadium) and its fine

When the machine is switched on all 4 green lights on the board are lit up.. I read somewhere this meant it wasn't the PSU but I could be wrong I know nothing about repairing them lol. Do you know if anyone on here will be able to sell me a PSU either cos eBay seems to want a lot for spares recently. Thanks

As vecs says i would deffo investigate the PSU first  for resetting issues.

 

As for prices rising its due to parts getting a bit rarer.

Thanks vectra666 I'l try the PSU first and £50 Is quite a bit cheaper than eBay. I have 6 bellfruit machines so even if it's not that it's handy to have a spare. I find it strange that the price of whole scorp4/5 machines has reduced a lot but part prices are going up

try the other power packs first, i know nowt about real machines but mine switched on ok then after a whle of playing it reset itself

Yeah mine is like that.. it only seems to reset during a megastreak or DOND feature but never when it's left in attract mode. I thought about swapping the power pack from another machine but I don't know how to change them over and knowing my luck I'l take them out and not be able to get them back in

It's really quite simple, theres like 2 or 3 connects & thats it.

If i did it, any one can lol. As Matty says it's something like a couple of connector's best take a pic of the old ones connections etc so you know where everything goes.
Mine was fine in attract mode but restarted during play on base reels but was fine up top.

I managed to swap the power packs round with a gunpowder slot and surprisingly they both powered up so I did it right first time lol.. have played both for a good 8 hours and so far neither one of then has reset at all. This confuses me but I'm not complaining.. If one does reset I hope it's the gunpowder now as I don't fancy trying to change the board

so it was the psu power pack, so is gunpowder slot faulty or is it just you need a newer psu power pack? 

thats another layout in need of emulating and there's plenty of roms for it

unfortunately the flyers poop on here

is there a decent flyer anywhere or maybe you (bullionbars) could take some( or lots lol) of hi res pics of yours for a nice big shiny dx of it

Vectra666 I don't know what the fault is yet lol since I swapped the power packs over neither of the machines have reset yet. As for the pics yeah I can take whatever pics you want of it if you tell me how to upload them to here lol

I have a CYBTB on £35 aswell if you'd like pics of that too? I noticed that's not emulated either

Just take em and save em to your pc via a file then zip it up cheers, try to get as little flash burn caused by the camera,s flash as possible
