Hi i got these roms via mattys casino monopoly topic which he uploaded.
i've placed them within 3x layouts as the machine is asking for A. machine ID 1,2,3 and B. the machine name - car/dog/hat.
afaik i've put the roms where they should be and the coin slot is set ok, but when it/they finish initializing it then has to wait to connect, now this is a countdown from 100 of which takes an eon each unit down takes five seconds so 100-0 takes upto five minutes lol.. when it finally finishes they all say comms failed!!!
i hope someone can cure this as would be great to have a "community" game
here's the roms matty uploaded in case i've loaded the wrong ones and the layout wip with some already loaded into it

p's take no notice of the reel bands these are there only to get it to start up!! not sure if all seven segs are added yet too.

Are Scorpion 5 multiplayers supported? The other ones released were Scorpion 4 & they have a config for setting slave/master etc.

so i only need one unit but set the dips bank 1- 1,2,3,4
is there any reason why they won,t run as a multi unit, will it be runnable in a future update??

That potentially is 3 Scorp 5 machine running all at once rather than a top box . It only triggers a community feature anyhow, it should still offer it on one player unit possibly.

I think they all connect to a community server rather than to each other, as I've not found any evidence of comms being sent out from a single unit.
So unless anyone knows better, I don't think these will ever work.

Been playing what there is and managed to get a community feature in standalone mode (Street party) everything else seems to work as expected. I would say this is worth getting done for the standalone. Seems a great game. Almost played this one in the wild but never did.

Does anybody have any pics anywhere of the base and top reels so I can somewhat see what reels are needed.
I can make out from the flyer from the net it uses monopoly cards the full set and red hotels so that should be East's have
The base reels use bars and the monopoly icons dog, hat n car with a red background.
Does anybody have a better flyer of this too please as maybe I could nick the cards from it.
Hi vectra - here's an almost finished layout - just needs tidying up - wasn't satisfied with the top reels, I think that they should have card names on really, you're more than welcome to finish it if you want to

Nearly got mine right, didn't use the red background and as it was a combined game - used the Car, Hat and Dog reels.

looks great reg please release yours, a few things could be changed i think the top win plan uses all monopoly cards, so the yellow set would say Piccadilly, Leicester square, Coventry etc, so maybe re-edit the cards to the real ones or at least rename the coloured spaces?
If you/captain H want i could try and redo the base reels so they match the real machine??
as for the dog/hat car symbols personally as its a stand alone machine i'd use the car symbol being as its machine no1 out of three
just downloaded captains and its another fine example of a layout which one's the best, they both are great, both need minor tweaks here and there to replicate the real machine but we already knew that
