Hi and welcome simon, fair point there but why would we supply a 3 disk set only to get 25% in return??? Dont forget you get these fruits for free, off people who out the goodness, spend time making them and share for everyone to enjoy. Maybe they should start selling there own dvds and keeping the money themselves and as regards 20.000 strong database of POTENTIAL buyers??????? the emu scene across the board from fruit machine to pinball and arcade has a lot more than 20,000 potential buyers that dont need to buy Cause its FREE.

Why don fruit emu do a 3 disk set and keep 100%???

Please dont take the wrong way,but just think if you was to create something only to find out that someone is making money off the back of it! i myself dont create layouts but respect those that do,and we have a lot of people that come here download and dont even give a thank you(possibly like yourself)

The problem is that the sale of emulators will always be a thorny issue and will generate strong opinion.

That's why I've never been prepared to entertain the idea of the site selling them, even for the benefit of the resources pool for instance.

Even putting that aside here's also the question of the administration and costs involved, as has been pointed out above once postage and fees are taken into account it doesn't add up to very much...

Well selling the emulator itself is totally against Wizard's T&Cs.  So for that reason alone it should be stopped.  As for 25%.  Mmmm I'm sure they used to be a bloke here offering a full set about 7 DVDs or USB stick and turning over all the 'profits' to this site, I could be wrong though

Might be easier just to have a Dropbox / other file share with all the layouts etc in it - that way people can just download that to get the lot. That or a torrent so people can choose the bits they want...

P122es me off when people put hours into these things and c@nts like this one here along with others that claim they have "exclusive" rights to re-sell Emu layouts come along, especially on here trying to justify themselves.

 

They are classic freeloading, money for next to nowt bums...
