My mate's been offering me his JPM Monopoly quiz machine for a while, it's been in good working order and hasn't given him any problems but he's got newer machines and no space.
So I went and collected it today. It was on in his house, happily flashing away, we unplugged it, carried it carefully to my car, loaded it carefully, drove the 2 miles to my house and carefully carried it in.
I plugged it in a few hours later but it won't come on !
Power supply is running, various LEDS on the board inside are lit. The monitor is running with full HT but just showing a blank raster. No lights on the front of the machine or anything.
I checked all the supplies coming from the PSU, made double sure everything was plugged in tightly etc, but still no video to the monitor and no other sign of life.
I did notice that the back-up battery was just beginning to show signs of leakage, would a duff battery stop it from booting up?
Any ideas guys ?

They take ages to boot up, literally say 30 seconds, make sure the back door is closed, and if it still doesn't come on.... let us know

Still no joy.
Took all circuit boards out and refitted nice and tightly
Still not booting up
Are there any known stock faults for this?

Hi
Did you ever find a solution to this problem. I have a machine that is doing exactly the same thing. All working fine untill I moved house and now just led's on the main board lit and ht on the monitor.
