Really ?

Do you honestly find the £5 JP machine rewarding in anyway whatsoever ?

Everyone has different tastes, but they are better served as large paperweights ( assuming you own the real machine ) otherwise simply filled clusters on your hard drive that would be better off being free space.

Around 10/15 years ago there was a sudden introduction of £5 jackpot slots with 20p/30p stakes.

And they gave a dam good play.

Tommy C created several games on this stake and as in the arcade they too gave a good game.

The problem is with most 5p/10p play slots(in the arcades today)is that they are set at such low percentages, that they can take double the jackpot to even get a feature board-And more times than not that can then be some 20p-£1 garbage that it is offering at it's very best.

Even the multi player slots like party times, games and bullion bars set at 10p/£5 can take the p**s,eating £20 plus to get a board. :err:

cashcade, bullseye, italian job 2 and jackpot and the beenstreak are the ones i am looking forward to seeing.I am sure they will be done in the fullness of time.Started bullseye but a bit beyond me as a beginner layout designer. There is also an adder 5 bullseye that works just needs a dartboard lamped  on top.

Bullseye Pounds for Points, That's for Reg to do! He's got an amazing Dartboard lamped up, knocked this up a while ago using it. I shan't be releasing it as i don't have his permission to use it, but the roms are there for anyone who wants to knock up a dart board :jimlad:

Good thread this. Was thinking of doing an unemulated thread the other week, where we could maybe list machines from each tech as of yet unemulated and secondary needing a DX.

I'd like to see

M1a/b Maygay -James Bond (not sure how many more M1a/b machines we haven't seen at least in classic form). Like to see Omega in DX form.

Sys 5 - Around the World Awp, Mouse Trap.

Phoenix - Any Electrocoin Hi-Tech's, as I think there will be older members who won't have played these before.

Proconn - The Heat is On - Which is now on Dxcellent's WIP Page and I've been trying to remember the name of the machine for a long time.

Sp.ace - Swop Shop, plus a DX of Crimewatch. Also DX's of Beau Peep and Money Mountain.

Electromechanical - Ten Up DX.

MPU3 - Puffing Billy DX.

Unknown Tech - A London Underground machine, based on the Circle Line IIRC, sure it was blue in colour, was released between 1990 - 1995.

MPU4/Impact - Anything really that hasn't been emulated, I will remember and so would like to see.

I'm sure there are many later tech machines missing, but to me, none of them are that memorable as the older machines above.

Agree, played a few £5, 20p - 30p stake machines, mainly in bowling alley over the years and they can be quite entertaining.

5p/£5 - Yuk, possibly worse ever AWP stake. 10p £5, depends on machines profile and whether the pay table starts with £1 (generally no good) or 20p/40p (generally at least ok).

As said before we definitely need some jpms for mfme v5+ and a few other techs need filling in.
I think scorp1, impact and a couple of others are yet to have layouts made specifically for v5+
I'd like to do stardust images are in short supply for a dx although I did start one ages back may still have the original artwork somewhere.

Spectre and Shogun done although Shogun doesn't have the correct sounds and is a mini dx from me, I could make it bigger as still got original art?
Never thought this topic would prove popular, but it gives the creators new and old some ideas of what to produce soon.

Anyone remember the name of a machine that had something to do with a submarine?

The central reel would spin for the skill shot, and you had to stop it on the target with a depth charge?

I think?

Was a long time ago.

Double up by Project coin.

£15 crazy pays.

I'll probably think of a few more :)
