i like machines with good game play and has a good pay out. Top giza and top gear are my favorite atm as i know the streaking methods/emptier for these 2 machines. Global's saturday night beaver i like as it easy to get hidden features that pay from £7 - £25.

Gameplay and value per pound....my all time favourite is Lineup (original) 20 mins play for a pound..and £2 Token JP
Anything with a jackpot over £6.00 in my personal opinion is totally shite for gameplay and value for pound...

Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm

ones that arent hi lo based and give features more regulary...
not having a £2 block is an advantage as well.
something different... feature board has to be original... super boards are always fun as well.

some of the things that go to making a great fruitie. As with all recipes the secret is in the balancing of the ingrediants though lol
varied gameplay. Different ways to win different amounts. A few good examples are indiana jones, rollercoaster, andy cap. lots of features that are worth collecting.
regular features that offer decent play time. A long feature board that doesn't kill you in the first couple of spins. good examples are indy, pyrimid, andy cap, let the good times roll
a wide varity of features using different skills if possible, good examples include indy, rollercoaster, andy cap
hidden features can be fun and add extended play time as you try to discover their uses. examples include maverick, casino crazy
fairness. A contradiction in fruities perhaps, but its possible to create a great game without the typical hi/lo gambles that deliberately give you an 11 knowing the next number will be a 12. Its predictable and does nothing other than to piss you off. examples of a "fairer" type of gambling system include popeye, indy, rollercoaster
A good theme. good artwork and sound samples go an awful long way to making a fruitie memorable and enjoyable. crystal maze, bullseye, popeye, indy (again, you can tell i think this fruity is ace), pyrimid (proving they don't have to be a film/tv show tie-in)
A feeling of involvement. You know the type where you feel that by holding certain numbers on the reels, by using nudge busters cleverly that you are actually improving your chances (an illusion perhaps lol). a good example of this is rocket money

Good sound, good graphics, fairness.
By fair, I dont mind if it sucks money for ages, as long as I KNOW there it will go mental paying out at some point.
For example, showtime spectacular, playing that, it can suck in loads of money on 10p play 8 quid jackpot. But when it wants to pay, I have had over 30 quid from it in the space of only a few goes. Thats a big streak for a 8 quid jackpot.....
Pie factory, once you get used to its progressive nature, you know its reasonably fair (although just did a factory reset on it, and it seems to be tighter than a ducks arse at the mo, so may rethink that...)
I cant stand machines that take lots of money to give you a chance to win something, or ones that always kill you off, or ones that are badly maintained.
Most machines I dont bother playing in the wild, as it takes to much money to learn their profile, and too many people are using known methods on em, making them a bit dead.
30p a spin is fine at home, or when earning more money than sense, but at the moment Im not earning more money than sense, so I only play at home...
Would prefer timeouts to be longer on fruities as when on a feature, specially after a few beers, it takes me ages to figure out what the heck im supposed to do, by which time the machine times out and offers a crap win.
Oddly I also like a good attract mode, as it attracts me to the machine, like a moth to a flame...

Any machine must have playability. Just something you don't see much of these days.

by fair on pie factory, I mean you get used to its blocks, and know what the next level payout will be (ie it gets progressivly higher). If you "go with the flow" (ie dont push your luck on gambles) it will give you a fair go. Try and gamble and its a c*nt, unless its in a good mood. Before the factory reset, I found it pretty hard to lose money on a regular basis on it, but I was not forcing or using any methods, just taking reasonable amounts. Now it seems very tough (odd as I though a new machine was supposed to pay out more.......) but will have to play it more to see how it goes, only had reset it recently.
