Another SRU done.  This time it's Each Way Shuffle Deluxe's turn.  Basically the £3 version of Each Way Shuffle; which was done by CTL, instead of JPM.  Set to £3/10p/78%.
 
Strange quirk with this one though compared to the Super Each Way Shuffle I did previously.  The 8 nudges lamp comes on after you've shuffled the reels on this, and I don't know why.  I'm pretty sure it's a rom/game problem, and not an emulator issue, as it doesn't do it on Super Each Way Shuffle.  Doesn't affect the gameplay at all.  Just weird that it happens, that's all.

Nudge Up - N or U

Yes seems to be a bug in their code. Replace the first ROM file with this one:

 

 ewsp1_300.rar   930bytes   8 downloads

 

These SRU ROMs don't have an internal checksum check, so any bad dumps won't show up.

Yes seems to be a bug in their code. Replace the first ROM file with this one:

 

ewsp1_300.rar

 

These SRU ROMs don't have an internal checksum check, so any bad dumps won't show up.

Class, mate. 

 

Glad there was a way of fixing the issue.  I'll get the layout updated ASAP.

EDITED TO ADD:  Layout has now been updated with the new rom.

Thanks,after a long hard day at work getting rid of snow and trying to keep joe pubic happy!! I come home to this old skool number. I cant remember ever seen ctl one in the wild, thats my night sorted, well i have 11 hours break before going back to more snow!!!

Just an observation, wouldn't have a clue if the machine was like this but the top reel glass shows the nudge feature in green and shuffle in red.

 

The buttons on the top of the machine are the other way around. A la the nudge stop button is red and the shuffle button is green.

 

Surely they should have matched up, i guess CTL may have made a mistake.

Thnak you for this release. Just had a few quid through it and it plays quite a tight game, but did get 3 melons shuffle in towards the end. Also had the classic 10 nudges available with both melons and grapes 11 away.

Very nice layout, thanks to all concerned.

It's how the real machine was, mate.  I agree that it looks odd, but what can you do.  We're in the emulation business after all, so have to replicate the real machine as accurately as possible;  mistakes, n' all.
