Have you posted this on The Mecca as well? I know a lot more interest in old machines over there, but I'm sure they'll subscribe still.
Not that I'm looking to unsubscribe, but if you fall back under 100, do they take stuff off you?

They may do, actually, that is a good point.
I'll get this posted at The Mecca as well. Thank you.
Again, also many thanks to the new members of the channel. Thank you.

99.9% of members on these forums, are guilty, at some point, for not always hitting the thanks button and/or saying thanks in release threads. I haven't been that well over the past few months, nothing serious, just colds/flu/tooth problems, so I've definitely hit the download and thought I'll say thanks later, but haven't.
It's the people in addition, who don't participate or contribute anything to FME, but download everything that is the real shame.
I would hope that those of us who do participate and/or contribute, shouldn't need to say or hit the thanks button, for every release and the releaser, to know it is still appreciated.
But this is one discussion that has been done to death a zillion times over the years, nothing is going to change, so we accept and move on, knowing that many of us are still here daily after all these years. I certainly won't stop doing bits and pieces where I can, just because some faceless member doesn't hit thanks or comment.

If I download a specific layout I'll try to make sure I post a thanks.
Possibly a little cynical, but maybe some politics involved as well, the scene is steeped in history.

Good Morning !
We are now 75% of the way there. This is great progress so I want to just take a moment to thank everyone concerned.
It's clear we're going to hit the targets, it's just a matter of when so I will donating to the following sites today as promised, but earlier.
Fruit Emu
MPU Mecca
Desert Island Fruits
...no, scratch the last one, I give you everything for free ( well - simply now a request you can subscribe to the channel ) !
Thank you.

Thank you both ruudtkins and vectra66 as well as everyone else here who has subscribed!
Yes, we are very nearly there - this has been a fantastic response - the last bit was always going to be the hardest. The below message is not pointed at anyone who has subscribed my honest thanks is with all of you, this is a little push as to if you are thinking about it - why I would like you to help me help you.
So, for anyone that is reading this that has not subscribed, consider what the end game is here...
1.) All I want is 100 subs to get a custom URL. After this point, the self-promotion ends - this thread can die.
...what the community gets is as follows...
1. The following games that have been shown will be released - all I am doing at the moment is holding off until the new MFME is released in case there is anything I need to update and I hit 100 subs, I would love to be able to put the video URL in the release notes.
DO NOT think this is the end either - when a layout gets released, I will pop another video up to replace the released game so there will always be nine sitting and waiting.
I am aware that not everyone plays DX's all the time, old classics will be redone - here is an example of my release for one compared to an update that I'd done already...

I am a firm believer of even what I relase is not good enough and what you are seeing above and in the videos for new releases ( https://www.youtube....-9tMGj6LAGhr3B0) is just beginning.
DIF even has untold treasures that were not shared to the world, always worth keeping an eye on downloads - one example is unless I am loosing my mind and forgotten is...
http://www.desertisl...es/file/47-viz/
...not everything got full promotion everywhere.
I have made a lot of layout and there is always likely to be a version of something I've done had has already been released. Let's take a look at the Rainbow Riches Bingo, that was not released although it nearly did get one just when another was released. So that fairly went on hold. It is fair game to release layouts after a reasonable period for the original and if you like my classics, then all I am asking for is a little support for the final push here. I know by the downloads there is plenty of you out there that at least take them...
...also don't think it's just about what I am speaking to you about here - there was a very good reason that I brought this...

...I have been buying roms of eBay and dumping them and also helped people out within the community here to dump roms when needed. There are more games from me to come on roms that are not in the public as I've brought them myself.
Finally, reviews - they will be back and for every review that is a DX based one, there will be a watch it played video as well which I am holding off talking about too much ATM, but I've just had a parcel of what I need from Amazon arrive just now - minus the bits I forgot to order.

This sounds absolutely crazy, but Desert Island Fruits is now on the verge of becoming what I always wanted it to be - yes a very small community - but one that will have good content and I hope that when the ball gets rolling it will be enjoyed.
The foundation stones are in place...
