Bed time entertainment sorted! Great to see the correct fonts installed as well I'm looking at you Crazybar.....

Really pleases me how well this layout came out and to see you covering the machine.

Edit: If you decide to do Bank Job (Not that there is much to say) Please give me warning, i'd like a kick up the ass to get that layout re-made :D

I think the YouTube videos are a great idea, could teach some of the younger people on these sites methods of play so they can enjoy the older machines. I started playing in the early 1990's so this to me was the best time. All the jpm's that were in the rollercoaster cabinet were amazing. Monopoly, Indy jones, money talks, big bucks etc.... (big bucks had tons of secrets lol)

There where sooo many cheats/methods back then. Crikey there is literally tons of vids you could do.

Haven't watched vids all the way through but I have subscribed good luck

Cheers Andy

I'll definitely be doing one of the 'Betcom-style' machines, doesn't really matter which as they're basically all the same :D

I see vectra has a Shoot For The Stars DX at the WIP stage so that may be the one I go for. Personally I really like classics and have no problem either playing them or featuring them in the videos, but a DX does give a little bit more visual sparkle.

I'm really hoping Mortal Wombat turns up at some point, as that had a great little rip on it (which wasn't present on Spin On It).

This was on my radar to do a video for anyway, using Reg's excellent classic layout. However, the release of DAD's DX seemed like a sign from the heavens, so here you have The Empire Strikes Back.

I cannot overstate how badly I play when going for the second trap, not withstanding the one clear error I make, I think I missed at least another two opportunities to trap it besides that - but the core message and method remains intact.

With Count Ya Cash, it amazes me how people know about the method in the first place. It's not like it's simple.

I understand how it gets passed around once it's out there. But initially it surely has to come from the inside I.E someone at Barcrest in this case.

Still lapping up the videos.

Rumours abound that Barcrest were either bent as f*** or as incompetent as balls or a toxic combination of both in the £70 era, until they famously left the AWP market altogether.

Some of the clangers they left/put in the £35 > £70 upgrades were jaw-dropping, unfortunately they were nearly all chipped out by the time they got over here. They had four cracks at rechipping Alien and it was still doable even on the P4 chip (there's a video coming up for that one BTW).

Either way there's no excuse for some of the cobblers it was possible to get up to with their machines.

And now for a classic old ACE machine, 'Pay Rise', running an early 0.1 ROM set with the free win/emptier combo (if piloted with sufficient skill) still present. The Trouty & Bugs layout we've had since 2006 for this machine has been running the 0.6 ROMs, which had this chipped out.

And indeed, thanks to Trouty & Bugs for the layout, and the ROM provider!

OK glad that's sorted :) I didn't think they were 'secret' ROMs or anything like that, and even if they were I'm sure no one would want to keep them to themselves! They're part of fruit machine history after all :)

You could do Alien, Its Amazing and the Rainbow £35 DX superholds, 10p or 20p button needs adding though.

Alien.

Thanks to Reg for the layout and of course Chris for the wonder that is MFME!

-------------

I almost manage to get this mostly right. Almost. Mostly. (The biggest mistake is near the end when I use reel skills to get back to 4/9 before remembering that I actually wanted to be using them for 9b/11 at that point to snag Lucky 7. Oh yes and the 'line' for the dodgy bonus gambles may be one higher than I say it is, so that in fact I was safe to bonus gamble where I was, even without the extra life.)

I don't remember any watch for my hidden treasures machines, just spinning in a jackpot. I also seem to remember they never gave a hold after nudge on the jackpots.

As for the free spot the ball win, seriously no munter would ever know that, because even a munter wouldn't take such a shite feature, with plus nudge and quick nudge, guaranteeing a £2.40/£4.80 win 99.9% of the time. Even on £6 jackpot, it would 99.9% of the time be better than spot the ball.

Love the odd moment of forgetting what you are aiming for and playing as you would in real life, i.e 12:05 in the video. As a watcher, I think WTF is he doing, then you realise. That one particularly made me LOL.
