Hi, Iam wondering if it is possible to clear the ram on MFME V6 please? When a layout is loaded like Hoke Coke, there are no menu bars available. Same applies with Bullion Bars etc. MFME V5 you can press escape out of full screen mode (f3) and go to configuration on menu bars, but just seems to display layout only with mfme v6. Any ideas? How to do this on V6, as the machines can get to be a bit boring after you have smashed a few jp's out of them. Clearing the ram seems to restart the game with better odds and more action I think so anyway. Thanks and Happy New Year to all. Grateful for your replies???

With the top box or any slave active, by clicking on it, you can press esc, to see the menu bar, then configuration and at the bottom, clear ram.

Great release, my poor low end Acer laptop is much happier running it in general than 5.1 - Scorp5 running a lot better for me! I think I've found a bug with the Master Volume. I've set several mpu4's to 200 but when I go back to them the volume is back down to 100. I've checked the gam file after I've upped the volume and there is an entry for MasterVolume 200 but it gets ignored when you reload the same machine and then deleted from the gam file altogether.
Thanks for the new version Wizard, I'm liking it a lot

Ok so I did that, now I am getting a no comms error on all 3 machines, is it easier just to delete the gam file and start again?

Can't you just use a Keyboard or Mouse until the issue is sorted?

Kind of defeats the point of a tablet then.

open up each game amd top box and got the preferences. here you will find a setting FIND MY IP. click on it and save/close the game.
when you reload it, the IP will now be stored on each 1 2 3 and top box and will run fine.

How does playing it on a tablet work? Are todays tablets multipoint like touch panels? Just that plenty of techs require two things or more pressed at the same time, ie JPM, holding cancel and start on random stops - easy on a pc, just hold down as many key as required. I'd just plug in a mouse and keyboard.

Mfme is multi touch compatible. You can do slow down that require more than one button. Roller Coaster 'Test Your Strength' etc.
I use a Dell Venue Pro 11 Core i3, runs really well. Well not tried V6 actually and it sounds like there may be an issue but V5.1 is brilliant on a touch screen.

The coin in and out sounds don't work now, is it me or a bug?

Are you talking about Hokey Cokey or in general?
If Hokey Cokey, first make sure that on each slave under the configuration tab, ticks are in all the boxes at the bottom under effects. Also make sure in the emulator in general, under the file/preferences menu ticks are in the boxes for coin/notes etc...
Make sure volumes are up (use cntl + with the layout open).
If you still have no effects and you've reset the ram on Hokey Cokey, it's possible that you need to reconfigure the layout in some way. I'm sure I read recently on here that resetting ram on some Scorpion 5 tech machines, causes issues as it would on the real machine and some reconfiguring is required.

Tablet play is fine 99% of the time, even for holding cancel and then pressing another button. But say you have to react quickly by pushing down 3 buttons at a time, i.e to prevent a respin, you need to be precise and quick. Just like some people won't use a mouse for a fast skill stop, again it's harder on the touchscreen, but not impossible. Nothing will beat a keyboard though for skillstops and multiple button holds.
But it's great to be able to take away your FME collection, in your pocket so to speak and play anywhere/anytime and it's great in full screen borderless portrait mode. Oh and yeah MFME v6, is even better, with a way now to get out of fullscreen modes, without having to close the emulator down.

They might need to be reset again. Which layout do you want to set sound effects to?
