MPU5 note error - serial note mech missing

Hi all,
Is anyone here able to assist with an MPU5 issue? It's a Rainbow Riches on £70. It's got an old Jpm connected to it but think it's broken - can anyone advise if it can be disabled at all without removing the loom wires? Been into test and bnv key comes up with the six 0's. Tried inputting the correct key but comes up non responsive. I only work on new machines so in the dark with older tech... Any help appreciated.

JCM EBA. Ill will have to dig out my paper work. As I cant think what the setting are to reset set the bnv key.

Cheers impact, the acceptor boots up then shuts down again and comes up that it's missing. I'll have a fiddle with it later, is there a way of can be disabled altogether in test?

Unplug the loom and set BNV to 000000 if memory serves

Have you try topping the hopper up. Cant remember us doing that snapper been so long since dealing with EBA`s. I hate UBA/EBA
