Hi all,

 

I posted a question in General FME Discussion yesterday - "What's the difference with MFME 6 "only" layouts?" and it didn't email me to tell me I had replies and when I look at it, it just shows 0 views / 0 replies. 

 

I only clicked on it by chance and found that I had 3 replies. Otherwise people would have thought I was being ignorant by not saying thanks.

the site is facing a meltdown atm, basically its only the front page thats not updating all other pages are fine including download count

Ok Vectra, thanks for the info mate. Didn't realise that. Hopefully it'll get sorted soon.

 

I'm not getting emails either to say someone has replied to any of my posts. :-(

Yep, and there's 451 moderators, but nobody can do anything about it.

 

I used to moderate a rom forum, had full control, could fix stuff, ban folks, do backend stuff when the database was knackered etc, we all know what Alex is going through, so what's the other moderators excuse?  And if none of you have full access what is the point in you?  Apart from the "my cock is bigger than you award".

 

I'm not having a go at certain mods here, I'm just saying, the forums f***ed so what's the point of you?

You’ve been around FME and Fruit-Emu far too long to really even bother to reply to that Andrew bud... but here goes:

Moderators moderate, (maintain order in forum sections etc, basic level stuff necessary to keep a forum running smoothly on the front-end level) Administrators administrate... as there are only two active admin here, Alex and Pete W, it is left to them for any back-end maintenance and upgrade levels.

As you well know, Alex is recovering from serious illness, which leaves Pete W, who has been informed about the site’s problems, but hasn’t dealt with it yet.

Don’t make yourself look foolish lad by trying to be clever, it doesn’t work...
