Im new to all this, so Im hoping some experts in the forums can help me. I recently decided to bite the bullet and bye a fruit machine for my man cave, always wanted one. I picked up a 2008 Barcret, start wars a new hope machine!

Everything semed fine, took it home tested it, perfect, so switched it off

When powered back up I got a loud hey check it out sound and it said error 84-10 on the display and hopper fail. Now after 10- 15 mins of switching it on and off it ficed itself. I used it for an hour and switched it off, unpon lowering back up, same error and same 10-15 min routine before it eventually works.

Ive bought a spare hopper off ebay, still the same issue

CAN SOMEONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRCTION PLEASE?

PS once I eventually get it working, can i leave it permanently plugged in? Or is that a fire risk for example,

open the main door and check that the hopper is pushed into place - you may need to disconnect it 100% and then click back into place.

 

a common problem is that fruit machines (particularly project coin for me) do not like to be moved large distances.

 

 

 

if that fails, then check the ROM cartridge on the MPU5/6 main board. (if it doesnt work then come back and post your findings with photos if avail)

Another forum bug at the moment, create your post and upload the images. After you've click the post button, It will appear they haven't uploaded. But if you then edit your post, you'll see them, then save it again.

It looks like there's only a "classic" version of that machine on these forums.

 

If you wanted to "put something back" you could take a load of good quality photos for the talented guys on this forum to make a machine out of???

Hi I bought a starwars fruit machine mpu5 it was working then a couple of things went wrong
The fruit machine is a a new hope machine £5 jackpot if I switch the machine on now with the door closed
It configures but the reels don't spin and a alarm sounds it says on the screen note mech missing
But if I switch t on with door open reels don't spin there is no alarm in the bank screen above it says 16 D
And on the screen below it flashes time date year and the three hold buttons flash and the start button I try to enter time date and when I press the start button the date time year clears nothing happens can anyone help ? Please see photo I uploaded
