can someone pls help,i have lost all audio on games except when i put headphones in.
i think i saw a problem with ac97 audio/drivers
no fun without sound.

Hi,
As I understand it, about the only 2 things that can be done to sort out the AC97 sound issue are
a) Install the latest version of DirectX 9, available from www.microsoft.com , and also you may need to [but check that DX9 doesn't solve it before you do this...]
Rollback the drivers on your AC97 Onboard sound to an older version. Not completely sure of which ones to use I am afraid, but will have a look about for any more stuff that might help!
