Hi all,
I put DOND - Casino on my cabinet just to try it. Not sure if I'll keep it as it has a £500 payout and my machine only holds about £120 and don't want it emptying with a big win.
Anyhoo... I found with the original settings it didn't payout. Then I remembered being told to set the OUT setting to Sec3 x 1
On this setting it didn't payout either. However, on Sec3 x 10 it paid out £30 instead of £3 ???
Is there another setting I need to set this as? Or can anyone explain what the "Sec" settings mean/are so I can try and figure out the problem?
Thanks for any help you can give me
John

the number after the X is the multiplier. So setting it to 10 will multiply the meter out figure by 10 instead of 1 (or whatever number you choose)
Forget your actual payouts for now. Just concentrate on the meter OUT number at the top of MFME. If it changes when you collect money, the meter you've selected is correct. Always use x1 for your multiplier though for your MFME cab.
Just try each Sec meter and test. Sec 3 x 1 should be the right one tho as that's what all the other DONDs use I think.
Also, for your MFME cab, make sure there are no other meters set other than the sec 3 x 1. Make sure the other OUT boxes are left blank. Layouts usually have 3 OUT meters when they are released, this is to do with the note acceptor and being able to transfer money back to credits. This is not something you need on your cab

Thanks for that. That's strange then as I didn't get anything paying on Sec3 * 1 but I got ten times as much on Sec3 * 10.
Although, I didn't really mess around with it much as I was busy with other things. I'll give it another go this weekend all being well and see what happens.
I've got a much better idea thanks to your explanation so that has helped enormously.
Cheers

Just an update on this.... I tried messing around with it this weekend and you were completely correct Stoney.
I think the problem I had was that my payout software must have crashed when it was set to Sec3 IN * 1 - therefore it didn't pay anything out.
Then I set it to Sec3 IN * 10 and (of course) it paid out ten times as much as it should.
That's where the confusion crept in. I tested it again this weekend set to * 1 and it worked like a dream.
Unfortunately though I can't keep it on my cabinet as my hopper only holds around £120 and so anyone getting the jackpot on this would empty the whole machine!!!! (which is a pain in the arse as I have to move everything around to get the machine out to then put the pound coins back in my hopper!!!). So.. it's coming off the machine but it's good that (with your help) I've got it working at least.
Thanks again mucker
