Hi peeps,

Can someone who is a member of the above forum please ask Dad on my behalf (username eyleyro, c*******.a******@n*******.com) why I can't register?  I had been a member for donkeys but assume he has had a non-active member database cull which is understandable.  Have requested multiple activation mail reminders, but none forthcoming.  No obvious way to contact Dad on the site itself and couldn't work out how to PM directly here either.

 

Apologies if asking about another site on here is poor form, I'm assuming it isn't given links to DIF etc but apologise just in case.

UPDATE: looks like there is an account registered, but never signed in to.

Yeah your account was approved on the 20th of Feb but not activated.  All new signups have to be activated before they can sign in.  You should have recieived an activation email which contains the activation link.  If you've not recieved this it could possibly be a server error or you could maybe check your Junk mail to see if its there.

 

If you still have problems I can set up an account manually if you send me a PM with your username, email address & preferred password

Thanks all, and apologies for the late reply, I keep checking the homepage and topic still says 0 views / o replies which I now realise is spurious!  DAD, will pm you here, have not received any activation e-mails, have clicked resend a couple of times, and yes, have checked junk folder ;-)

Doh, of course, for a bright fella sometimes I just need to find a more complicated solution!

Activation emails appear to be problematic again. I’ll ask for it to be investigated.
