My proposal was a loose suggestion in case of Eric's emergency. I can contact my seller and ask if hoppers are still available. Hoppers are used ones from scrapped machines. The guy who sells it is a private person and he would have to decide if he is interrested on posting foreign package. We are from Poland.

I understand, I would appreciate if you could contact him and see if he would be willing to look at international postage.
I can see it might be too much for him, I do not know how expensive postal in Poland is but in UK it would be more than the hopper price.

Hello Konrad,
I have two pc, in the first i have put the files in windows/system32 and in the second only on the squeezer folder.
i think is better in squeezer folder for a ready to use.
but i have try only with w7 64 bits.

Thanx Eric. In next update I will try to remember to put those files to the Fruit Squeezer archive. For now I have no idea for next updates. Maybe some detailing..
As for development of larger version of my program and more complicated fearutes I'm thinking now on 7 segment displays (I have some progress - thanx Wizard, I've found everything). When I'll finish I will get back to stepper motors Arduino code because it needs lots of corrections.
I still don't know is this large version of my program does make sense. Even if I succeed, the question is - does someone is going to use it to reconstruct physical machine...? I doubt for now . This version would have a lot of complicated features. 350 leds, 16x1 scroll screen, 7 segment displays and up to 8 stepper motors. ~3-4 Arduinos connected same time, responsible for different features - leds, motors, displays. It might be called Fruit Crusher . Yeah! Fruit Crusher would be nice. We'll see.

Hello Konrad,
I think the fruit squeezer should be as simple as possible to please everyone and not discourage users (and its success will also be for you).
After you can do a second version for the passionate users but it will do you a lot of work for less success.
I have a lot of work right now, but I will build a cabinet soon with your fantastic project.

I think you can make a tutorial for the newbie

Well, Fruit Squeezer development has slowed down a bit. Mostly because that most important features are implemented and working, so, not much to do for now.
Development of large version is also stopped. I must have some break from it. Need to freshen my mind. In a meanwhile I've created a logo for my program. Here it is. Nice? Or not Nice?

Hopper is connected with only 3 wires. Ground, voltage & coin out signal. Ground is common for voltage and coin signal. I can't help you with connecting it to MAME, but as for MFME, you can use my Arduino project, and on page 5 of this thread, you will find a schematic of connections, based on Arduino Mega. Nothing more I can do I think. One thing to check - coin out signal HIGH or LOW of hopper. This willcause a need of changing the Arduino source code. My example if for LOW coin out pulse.

Thanks, i was testing it last night without the hopper hook up and it did catch the some of the led ouputs but it didnt seem to catch the payouts,i will try with hopper on and post results

Before i burn my hopper,on your schematic, there are 2 green wires that said sensor, but on the software you claim hopper sensor and motor trigger go to 54 and 55, so what at the green wires in your Sketch? Thanks for any help

Sorry I can't edit my post right now for some reason, on your eschematic pin 54 and 55 are grounds , that just gets me more confused

First of all, you should take a look at Arduino Mega pinout diagram. 54 & 55 are not grounds. Ground is ground (GND).
https://www.theengin...uino-mega-5.png
You have great pinout description ad above link.
pin 54 - coin out signal pin
pin 55 - motor ON signal
As hopper motor operates on voltages above 5v, you need some device between Arduino and hopper - relay module in my case.
Relay module receives low voltage motor signal, and turns on the relay for higher current flow for the hopper motor.
