So i have recently picked one of these up not working (paid £20).. Was stuck in boot loop but because i had a few spare psus i manage to get it starting up to a point where i genuinely have no idea what is going on with it.

 

Boots up fine then gets stuck on " Jackpot £30 Cash"

its not allowing me to change the stake via buttons and ive tried all the stake key options front to back using the manual that came with it.

 

The old board was completely dead from what i could gather from it as it wont boot from that board but will boot till i get to this bit, Tried everything to get it going and i am just hitting a brick wall with it.

 

 

Anyone got any ideas on how to sort it out as currently i have no clue.. I've only had mpu5 stuff which normally doesn't break lmao.

(My main guess is maybe another board is needed as reel 3 gets stuck too even if you swap the reels over)

 

i'll get some photos when i get a chance.

Maybe completely different, but in emulation terms pre mfme 5 we had this in layout form but door open only on £35 and Im sure it used to say £30cash on the alpha when you set it on £5 , so maybe its something to do with a door switch or incorrect rom.
What jackpot stake setting should it be?

Does it play in door open mode

Cannot get it in door open mode, Should be on £35 jackpot 30/50p a play..

 

But i would kill to get this on £5 jackpot but wondering if i can get hold of stake keys and percentage key.

you should be able to by either opening the cash door at the bottom, or opening the top part up??

Neither let me change it what so ever. Hoping someone can shed some light still before i have to fork out for a board and it might not be needed.
