Looking very good.
I am torn between loving your machine and wanting to build my own. I have history in cab building and it would be fun.
What’s your plans with the scripts etc - is this something your prepared to sell for single use to an individual - if so, feel free to drop me a PM.

The thing with this is its built in with the arduino. Without the buttons (menu, start etc) the thing is rather hard to use to navigate. Its designed as full screen and as soon as you go in one game, its hard to come out again without mouse and keyboard which takes the effect away. Im looking at different cabs and touchscreen and will be looking at selling complete units with working buttons etc.

Interesting idea but demo's don't really get me excited and it can never be more than that can it?

Unfortunately not. Although it plays the same as it would do any other time, whether fobt or online for real money for example.
To be fair, and no disrespect to anyone, but I see a game in demo mode almost the same as the emulator running the fruit machines. The difference being the gameplay, but still fake money winning fake money.

I haven't played a lot of the demos but on rainbow riches the feature for the 3 leprucans is different in the real world its money but on the demo its a muliplier of win unless there are 2 versions out there but hey its a nice unit to have and well done.I always thought the demos were a bit more generous than the actual game but i am fortunately no expert in these money grabbing things.

Fair enough - to be honest, I'd be trying to control it with an iPac-V4. I put about an hour into this last night and I've started on a version for myself for my cabinet - I've gone for a Window version but I control where the games appear.
I think this is going to work out well. For the moment at least on the main PC, I've gone for a home button on the bottom right to return to the main menu. I am going to see what graphics I can rip from my T7 for some of this.
Two games demo'd below.

Looks promising for those interested Reg.
Each to their own though. Why anyone would want to "play" this shit either in demo or real play beats me..... Where is the fun, entertainment or gameplay?

I would have thought demo mode would have been a lot looser, as reel based machines are in door open mode. They must do this to encourage real play, making the unfortunate punter think "Wow these are easy to win on", when in reality the punter get drawn in to shovelling cash into them, eventually having the shirt sucked off of their backs.

You change the challenge !
So, playing these as we know it's going to be very generous compared to real life, you say right - over 100 spins what is the maximum profit I can get it to - over a timed game, what is the maximum I can get it to.

I remember playing a friends rio machine, I played Elvis on freeplay, it played pretty tight, same as it did in real play.
It was set to 94% with a £2 stake.

I have successfully ported this to an app.
It will be available on android at the moment (im an iphone person so not ideal for me, sorry if you dont have android).. but its running on a samsung s4 so if you really want to play this, you can pick up a cheap android unit easily enough.
Im going to try and get it on google play.
I have a debug list as long as my arm, so there will be a delay before this is sent off for submission.
Im not sure if i will be having playtesters just yet, but a bit closer to release, I will be looking for playtesters that i can send the apk to..
Thanks guys
Oh, and if successful, I will be apply for an iOS license and release on app store.

Don’t bother with apple in my opinion.
I used to have a dev license and I’ll be surprised if they let this one through for what they are.
Please post a link to the play store when it’s live so we can get it.

Just did some reading online about some of the legalities involved in this and I am correct that if content is copyright protected, but freely available on the internet, I can link to the copyrighted items without fear of copyright theft. Its is freely available and not behind any paywalls or whatever so should be fine.
I may look into changing the servers Im running on though and leave sg out of the loop altogether..

Hi Nick Yer Pesos it's a great idea I think, and yes there is copywrite to overcome but there is one question. Would it be useful for me, as a blind person to use keys on the keyboard, like MFME does? But seriously I've never played FOBTs in my life, never intended to. But for fun and free play, yeah it's a great idea for a sim.

Its actually against the law for demos to play different or enhanced on demo play. They have to play the same as if it was real money, for that very reason.

Android or IOS, er why? PC all the way surely using mouse instead of touchscreen.
Personally I can't see sod all on a handheld device with a little screen.
Cheers.
