File Name: Nuns 'N' Roses DX

File Submitter: andy-1

File Submitted: 02 Jul 2018

File Category: Scorpion 4

Here is a photo based dx of Nuns n Roses by Mazooma, this is duel stake with a £35 Jackpot. I have been sitting on this image for a long while and decided to finally try and create a dx from it. There was a huge flash burn on the centre which I had to get rid of but I have left bits of flash burn and untidied cab for the realism effects.

Thankyou Andy and co, love the realism with these photo dx's especially the reflections etc.
Not downloaded yet till tonight.
But Try giving the lamp blending tools within mfme a bash especially with the machine logo where there's individual lamps per letter and the letters are angled and tight together.
It's easy'ish to do,
Take this layout logo "nuns n rose's" I take it it's a lamp per letter so you can split the lamps into three blocks
I.e nuns / n / roses. Then take nuns for instance you put the four lamp numbers into each On section i.e On1 on2 on3 on4 and mask accordingly,
then tick blend lamps / apply. Same goes for the rest.

@Tommy C you mention site support , it does seem to be a bit flat atm but suppose it's the heat lol.

Thanks for this, very realistic looking DX with a nice rustic, used look (my favourite type, which I might have mention, just the odd million times before).

Very popular machine back in the day, but I can't remember playing it myself, although I suspect I must of. Also seen it requested a few times, pre v5 times.

I agree with Vecs the logo could do with some advance lamping, but it only really shows during the attract sequence, so no biggy.

The reason i didn't mention the logo to Andy when testing is because he is a classic creator so for his newish attempt at a dx it is very good indeed.

Agree, still chomping through my DX and finding quite a few bits awkward to get right.

I will be hopefully doing more DX'es, I'm still learning a lot of the tools in MFME.

I have done a few but with the changes in MFME it is taking me a while to learn.

look forward to them, with each dx you do you'll learn a bit more as time goes on. i'm still learning and now finished my 226th lol.

As for the blending lamps bit, have a play about with it and see what it looks like?

i still can't workout them pic id codes in the first place lol.
