Hi
I've just purchased another two machines to add to the 2 machines I've got already.
I've bought Jackpoteers for £75 (+£50 delivery) and Psycho Cash Beast (club version) for £102 (+£60 delivery). These will be sited next to Everyone's a Winner & Austin Powers (when it's finally repaired!)
Jackpoteers http://cgi.ebay.co.u...RK:MEWN:IT&rd=1
CPCB

Jackpoteers was bought from Stemik on Ebay - Has an excellent feedback rating, would be interested to hear from anyone who bought a machine from them. CPCB was also bought off ebay but the user only has a feedback of 4 and seems to be an average punter who doesn't normally sell machines.
I've got room for another 6 machines before I have to sell one before buying another. Since buying my first machine, I've hardly ever played a machine in the wild (arcades, pubs, etc). Bearing in mind that I used to spend well in excess of £100 a week, I've saved an absolute fortune so it won't be too long until I add more to the collection.
I've played jackpoteers (although it was set on a higher jp amount) and I've played PCB before (on £8 jackpot I think). Is the club version fairly similar to the arcade version?

PCBC would normally go for about £200>£250 IMHO so thats an excellent price - I think the buyers feedback may have put some people off.

I thought that too.
I've emailed them to request their payment address and haven't had a response yet. I may have to edit the title to "one more machine to add to my collection".

Lol they won't sell it at that price, I just noticed it said 'purchased from CMJS Leisure' - which means that they probably paid about £350 for it, and it'll either be absolutely knackered, or will just not be given to you full stop.
CMJS - as an example, still charge about £225 for an Each Way Nudge, whereas when I get mine back [within the next week], I'll be looking for £75.

Seems strange the guy buys cpcb then 4 weeks later says has no room as reason for sellin. Sounds a bit dodgy to me. But hey! I may be wrong and you will have a really good bargain. I already own this machine so any probs let me know may be able to help ya out, good luck and hope alls above board.

I forgot your Up N Over came from Stemik.
You have to accept that quite often a machine of that nature will be stuck in a kebab shop on minimum maintenance.
I'm still amazed that EWN [obviously ex-kebab/burger bar as it had ketchup up the sides], apart from 45 blown bulbs when collected, has proved nothing but 100% reliable.
Still, if you wanted EWN for £75 and didn't mind waiting a week let me know [nudge nudge ]

Even if it has been in a kebab shop, i still blame it all on stemik. In the auction they said how it had all been workshopped and been tested to be working fine, i can hardly believe it was workshopped when about 8 bulbs wernt working.
I would probably be intested in EWN like i was before the pub kept it, unless this one is fixed and if i get my money back to.
And if i can get to the money in the hopper.

Just sent you a PM on how to manually empty a hopper
When they say workshopped, they mean the equivalent of 'tyre-kicking' a car.
If it turns on, doesn't catch fire, then it is ok.
Same from most suppliers unfortunately

MMMMmmmm
Should I send a cheque off or not?
CPCB is a bit dodgy - I ain't sending anything until I get a response to my email to him/her.
Atleast with the jackpoteers from Stemik, I know I'll get something turning up. Looking at his feedback, he seems to be reliable enough and the machines seem to get a good feedback.
Bear in mind that up here in scotland Fruit Machine prices are a bit more than down south. I normally buy & then sell my machines every couple of weeks. I bought Camelot for £75 from ebay and then sold it up here for £200. Neptunes Treasure was bought for £100 and I sold it for £175. Austin Powers should sell for £200 and Everyone's a Winner will probably sell for £150.

I found Scottish eBay prices VERY reasonable, especially when delivery is not an option from the seller. Even when it is, I've found machines up there to be so much cheaper that paying £60 delivery still means the machines can be cheaper than an English supplier

Nice machines both of them,
Just wondered about the CPCB fruity you are bidding on, I moticed at the bottom it says:
"The Coin Mechanism And Payout System Has Been Removed For This Auction"
Just wondered if that was why it is "cheap" as everyone says it is.. You probably was already aware of this though but its just something I noticed..
EDIT: Forget that, I should really read the whole thing before posting.. D'oh

Excellent, thanks for pointing that out!
Get in touch with the buyer from the link in the above post as well, ask why and if the deal fell through. If not, and he has had a cheque clear and is awaiting postage, get them thrown off eBay and keep the cheque!

Just waiting for his reply.
Ebay would be a fantastic site if it wasn't for the many dodgy sellers.

I bought a machine from Stemik, back in about 2001 I think, an Andy Capp 5p play machine, the one where "Aahm oota heeya!". Have nothing but praise for the company, and the machine was excellent.
Just wanted to show they arent all bad!
