Just got side tracked with the red lamping,was just finishing my £6 dx of sphinx off,back to alien in a mo.

Red lamps done for the feature,not the easiest colour to get right,pain in the arse infact,due to the egg which is overlayed through some of the lamps in the middle.

Terrific Tommy. Looking great.
I do recall although I could be wrong that this machine was released across mpu5 and mpu6 with differences such as reel symbols. I think Reg DX is based of mpu5 and the photos i sent mighr be mpu6. I couls be taking complete bollocks though. Can anyone advise ?

Definitely has been mentioned around the release of the classic layout, that it was released on 5 & 6.

Ok finally got the red base finished,all the cash lamps are drawn in so this part is finished,took ages to do these,will sort the green lamps tomorrow.

TC, I'm not trying to be a pain, but I notice that the 6th position on the main cash ladder £5.20 is actually £5.60 on Reg's existing classic layout.

 

Not sure which value is the correct one at the moment.

 

Also Reg's classic uses Oranges instead of the £'s. This again might be a difference between MPU5 and MPU6 versions of the machine maybe ?

 

Not sure of the best approach with that one.

Also the aliens etc on the background art look a tad browner than you have done.

Vecs how can you judge from that video what colour the aliens should be? it's pitch black so the light emitted is going to be different. Also already amended the art for that why i was adding some shading to the red lamps,not sure whether to stick with these yet or make them redder not sure why i put £5.20 down Been decorating all day so only just got back to the pc.

@ mort your not being a pain telling me stuff i'd rather be told sommat doesn't look right etc,never played this game for real so i have no memory of how red the lamps should be etc for the cash panel,they always look redder than they are in photo's.

Final red base now completed,i've altered the cash lamps and added a little more light to the feature trail so they look like there glowing a little.

Got all the green lamps finished,been out with the kids all day so only had a short time on the pc tonight.

Damn love it ! love the way the font changes, hadn't realised about that.

 

It all looks spot on mate.

 

While I think of it, what do you use for working out what a font is from a photo ?

looks great, i take it you know you've not lit the bonus gamble buttton yet, i suppose thats made up of little diddy led lamps.

The font.I identified the red one, sdtill not a perfect match the green one i couldn't find any so i asked a member at dif if they knew what it was,it's not a match but i've altered some text to make it look how it should,at vectra i've not lamped the button yet because it's all skew wiff and needs sorting out
