I did a couple of Dutch games at Mazooma; Double Top, Cashanova and Valhalla - I would love to see those again. I'll see if I have the ROMs anywhere but I doubt it. Nearly 20 years ago!

I've got all the old Dutch layouts released during FME history.  Mainly from Shaggiesweb which as far as I know does not exist.  I'll post some up later this evening. :)

Maybe it is because it is not a Dutch Emulation Site....

However that doesn’t preclude us having Dutch layouts on here, unless it’s perhaps one of the lesser known consequences of Brexit?

Probably more to do with the fact there maybe very little interest in Dutch machines in the UK.

I am sure if anyone has European machine roms, can be bothered to take the time to try and find out what is actually going on in the game, translate the Alpha language if there is any, make the actual layout and upload it then they would.

The lack of the above probably precludes the lack of these machines on UK emulation sites.

I couldn't be bothered with them whatsoever so forwarded what i believe to be a number of Scorp2 era roms to a (possible) German chap at the Mecca.

But yes, as to answer your question, anyone who has them can upload if they wish....

Thanks Geddy! Some of my old games are there - where do I get ROMs from? Cashanova and Valhalla :)

Also what version of MFME is required? I get lots of error messages when I try to load the games....

Your best bet is to start with MFME v5.1 as 99.9% of them will be in the old .dat layout format. Just save on exit to convert to .fml format so they can then be played in 6.1

Edit: Not much use as there are no ROMs included in that file

Warning: This post is mostly my own opinions and may contain irony, if you are obsessed with PAST history you may want to ignore it.

Yes I was in the process of uploading them but it seems Barcrest Junky posted them above your post, a lot of the layouts use the same roms IIRC.

Thanks Geddy! If you have the ROMs for the Mazooma games I would appreciate it - I would love to play my old games again.

Cashanova was a fun one to program; I was about 19 at the time, and still new to programming. The game has a trail, and has to hit a pre-determined win value. The game would try lots of combination of trail moves, before deciding on a final sequence of moves. Quite a hard thing to code.
