Have you guys got the resources for this machine? Do you know if it's Scorpion 2 or 4 tech.
Thanks

It's Scorpion4 and uses a DM display from S2, there is a classic layout for it

Not to sure on Emus- what's a classic layout? I have the machine if you need anything for it... looked for it on here a while ago but couldn't find it. I saw the certificate date in the machine but Not the mpu as 1997 and started sweating it was an S2!!
Happy to help you guys if you need anything

A classic layout means there’s no decent images for it to become a dx, if you can take some ho res images of this machine that would be great

I can take pictures of it no problem! I'm going to restore the machine. I love it! I can take close up pics of everything.
Is the classic version or the Roms for it available to bronze subscribers or public download?
I cant get it to boot off its original Program card/eproms this morning- probably where its been sat for years. (Changed mpu too)
Seem to have found a few partial sets I'm going to try programming. Can anyone help with the roms?
Desperate thanks

Hi mate been looking to play this machine again for the last few years- also want to share it as they hardly ever come up for sale.
Bit closer... tried another game card-solded the link resistors to the inner 2 (4mb).
I've got the machine finding it's original program roms (tres 1.2 displaying) it does it's reel checks and reels all move as normal. But I get invalid Jackpot steak/prize just before it goes into attract mode?
Tried different steak keys and settings...no joy. It's also fairly unhappy and resetting sometimes at sound proms checks. Big dot matrix display works but displays Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu during sound checks...
Not been beaten yet but not confident in the Roms, Sound Roms, dot matrix Rom. Can't find the classic layout anywhere on here. Maybe I'm being thick lol?
Would love any help to get this old girl working availble.

Here's the link to the layout/ROMs you require
http://www.desertisl...reasure-island/
It's only available on that site so will need to join up and introduce yourself

Ok so got this machine up and running nicely now... happy days! Bad rom data broken original mpu + broken original gamecard and me making a 4mb-8mb sound chip error when programming a new one. Also fitted a newer known psu to be 100% confident. (One less dond machine out there now!)
Absolutely loving the big pinball style Dot matrix display.
Will start adding pictures asap- the main glasses + finish will be 1-2 weeks

Yes and thanks buddy- it's running on those Roms- Tres v1.6 . Coin mech works- hopper operates as normal, door switches, test mode works, light sequences-everything seems to be working perfectly.
Yeah will defo upload everything I can once I've restored it... for a BFM clubber it's a proper rare old girl now. You guys have helped me fix it and other machines so would be nice to let everyone play it again...happy days!
